Bicycle detail

Well, I fell victim to these POS's right under my nose. My late fathers Mountain Bike was stolen in front of The Beach House yesterday at around 5pm. I was hesitant to even stop for a drink with my wife as we discussed how out of hand it was. My wife and I locked up our bikes right in front of The Beach House on the Boardwalk and then got a table 3 feet from the bikes so we could keep an eye on them. We got up to use the Restroom and when returned, my bike was gone. These guys are very good. They obviously were watching every minute from when we locked up our bikes to sitting down and then to getting up, the only 3 minutes we didn't have our eyes on our bikes. This makes me sick on so many levels. I predicted it. They were watching us. Then they went in. Within minutes I was on a Bird scouring alleys, parking lots and the hot spots. Its a very recognizable bike. I have written it off but will file a police report and the bike register. If anyone sees it or has a lead, I will drop everything and do anything to recover it. Like everyone else, we are over this and if I have to handle this without the Police, so be it.
