Description of the theft
This bike may have been stolen any time over the last 9 months; I have had spinal surgery and have not been riding it. The bike was locked with an Abus lock to bike rack #42 in the PB level of the Encore. This is my official bike storage rack as an owner at the Encore. When we went down to get the bike two days ago, we saw the bike was gone. On the floor below the rack was my helmet, and the lock completely sawed through. (That's a lot of steel!) We reported the theft to the management company, Coast Mngmt, and the Encore's HOA association. They suggested we also register the theft here in case the bike was found by police.
