Description of the theft
I had an in-line combination lock with 1/2" cable; my bike was secured to the wrought iron bicycle enclosure, beneath the stairs of my apartment building. The thief attempted to cut the cable, to no avail, then cut the metallic portion where the cable meets the combination lock. Thief must have used heavy bolt cutters.
