Description of the theft
My e-bike was strapped and locked to a bike rack on the back of our vehicle. As we left an event down the street, and we’re walking back to the car parked a little ways away, from a distance we could see the bike tire sticking out from the back of our vehicle. As we got closer, we noticed the bike tire was no longer visible and saw a guy pull away from the rear of our vehicle and ride away. There was a gentleman (information unknown) walking down the street, who saw what happened and alerted us to the guy as he was in the action of stealing our bike.
