Bicycle detail

Theft was discovered this morning at 12:30 pm when I entered my garage where the bicycle is stored. The bicycle was
attached with a cable lock to three other bicycles that are hung with hooks on the back wall of the garage. The thief entered
from the side door to the garage, which is generally left unlocked. The side door was not damaged, but it was left slightly ajar.
The thief cut the cable lock, carefully moved the other two bicycles out of the way, then removed the high value mountain bike
that was reported. Nothing else was stolen from the garage, as far as we can tell. This includes two relatively new kids bikes.
All bicycles were present last night at 10 pm when we made dinner and threw out some recycling that is stored in the garage.
We went to sleep at 1:30 am last night. We have two dogs who generally bark when anyone enters the house or garage.
They woke up and barked last night around 2 am. It is possible that they barked in response to detecting the thief's presence
in the garage. However, we ignored the barking and went back to sleep.
