Description of the theft
I was doing a routine barracks check when i noticed that my Trek 8000 bike was missing from the spot I had locked it. Bike has a “Zombie Hunting Permit” sticker on the side of the frame. When I last had it, one of the brake bars had snapped on the handle (rider’s right side). It has Rockshox shocks. I believe it possible that the thief may have gotten smart and repainted it, but some of its features I believe would still stand out. I am unclear on the exact date it was stolen.
