Description of the theft
Bike stolen during the early morning hours of Monday August 24 while staying at a residence on Whiteside St. in Saanich. Car was parked in the front driveway with 2 bikes on the bike rack on the back of car - the bikes were secured by 2 cable locks. Thieves cut though both cables and stole a white Trek 4900 women’s mountain bike (bought 17 years ago for about $900). We unfortunately do not have the serial number. The Saanich police file number is SA20-19108.
The bike has a rear pannier rack, a handle-attached mirror and a bell. The adjuster knob on the right front shock is broken.
