Description of the theft
I parked and locked my bike at the north end bike racks just outside of the Mary Stephens Library in Davis, Ca at 3:25pm on 8/27/22. I entered the library until 4pm. Upon returning to my bike, I found my lock cut lying on the ground and bike stolen. The bike is a grey, women’s Diamondback Serene with a white rear basket, left-hand mirror, bell, and new chain/ freewheel. There was a teal/pink Bell helmet in the basket, which was also stolen. I filed a report with the Davis Police Department.
