Description of the theft
I locked up my Schwinn Bikes Tone 2 Electric Scooter at the bike racks below the UCSD central campus trolley station from around 5:30 PM to 5:45 PM on October 19th, 2023. After ensuring my scooter was locked, I went on the trolley to get groceries at Noble Dr. station. I returned to UCSD central campus at around 6:35 PM and discovered that my whole scooter was stolen, and only the U-lock was left hanging there. I took a picture immediately of the surrounding environment after realizing that the bike racks and my scooter were locked right below and in front of a black, round-shaped security camera.
