I was unloading my car, which was doubleparked outside 238 Garfield Place, a row house in Park Slope, and put a recently purchased mountain bike from the hitch carrier of the car into the front yard of the house. As I was continuing to unload and bringing luggage up the stoop and into the house, the bicycle was stolen.
