Description of the theft
Bike rack was shaped in such a way that it was only possible to U-lock the front wheel to the rack. The rack was in a locked storage unit in our apartment complex.
The thief somehow got into the storage unit, unscrewed the frame from the front wheel, and just took the frame and the back wheel.
