Description of the theft
My bike was chained to a bike rack outside of Barlow Tavern and when I went outside to unlock my bike and head home (at about 2:00am), I saw that my bike was gone. I found half of one chain link from the heavy-duty Kryptonite chain lock lying on the ground where my bike had been chained up. Based on the condition of the half chain link left behind, it appears that the bike thief used bolt cutters on the chain.
