Description of the theft
My bicycle was stolen while I attended a class at LA Fitness on 1914 S. Bundy Dr. on Wednesday February 26, 2025.
I locked it in their main bicycle area, which is to the left of the entrance. The entrance is up the driveway, perpendicular
to Bundy. Their security cameras captured the theft.
I parked the bike, locking the frame and front wheel, along with my helmet to one of the provided steel rings, at around
9:05 am. I used a sturdy Kryptonite U-shaped lock. I took the key with me. When I got out of class at 10:30 am the bike
was gone.
Cameras show a slender young man approach the bike about 10 minutes after I parked it, disable the lock somehow,
and wheel the bike and helmet away on the rear wheel. The thief is wearing a gray hoodie and sunglasses.
