I bought 2 of the exact same bikes in September one large one medium and i turned out that they were stolen. When i purchased the 2 bike i thouht it would be great one for me and the smaller one gor my girlfriend but j never even had the chance to show her the bike. Buying both of them at the same time really set me back. I ran the numbers on cpic multiple time and in different ways lowercase uppercase. I even waited a few days before making the purchase and when I finally did I withdrew $5000 and almost had the guy call the deal off but convinced him that im a hard working guy and at the time I was more or less wanting to buy a vehicle but that's a whole other conversation due to the planets pollution problem. Need i say more. Anyways I bought both bike and too k one of them tk Sharkey pawn shop cause I always deal with them and they would take the same steps or more to find out if something was or is stolen. Surprisingly enough it came back clean and I asked for a small loan for the bike. FFW to the day I went to pick the bike up they told me CPS picked it up cause I was reported stolen a day or 2 after i brought it in for a loan. So I paid what I owed but left there empty handed obviously cause the bicycle wasn't mine but now I had i go home grab the other one and take it to the police station. As soon as i got home there was buddy who sold me the bikes in the first place so I waited till we got inside and I locked the door and explained to him the situation and asked him where is he gonna pull out $5000 from and before I could finish asking him he pulled out the money and asked for the bike back. I disagree with him at first cause its someone's property and its not fare for him to be making money off of it besides I asked him how he even got it? Thats when he pulled out a 3 foot pry bar and said I'd be surprised to see how quickly he could get through your everyday door. Enough said i told him the excepted the money i paid for it, he took the one I had and left my place with out even a hand shake or a time to hangout sometime again
