Description of the theft
At my Springtree apartment complex, my ~$400 bike was stolen. The apartment complex is a gated community, so it's hard for any outsiders to get in. My bike was locked up to the communal bike rack, and my lock wasn't a dinky little cord. An employee of the apartment complex told me that the bike racks were safe and that I'd be okay locking it there instead of on my deck.
I don't go by the bike rack a ton, since it wasn't nice enough to ride bikes. The last time I saw my bike was early March. Then when I went by the bike rack on March 29th, it was gone.
