Description of the theft
I went to a movie at the Alamo Drahouse on 07/30/2021 at 700 W 7th St Ste., Los Angeles, CA 90017 and I locked up my bike to a city bike rack with a U-lock just south of the intersection of 7th/Flower. I locked it up somewhere between 4:30-4:50PM, since the movie was at 4:50PM. I watched the movie and got out around 7:30-7:50PM and discovered the empty bike rack. I talked to mall security to see if they
could check the security camera. They didn't let me watch the video, but told me they saw a guy "break" the lock and take the bike at 6:34PM.

At that point I took it as a loss and walked home.

Since then, I've occasionally checked Craigslist and OfferUp and on 09/26/2021I found the bike posted on OfferUp. It says it was posted on 09/19/2021. I messaged the seller, but have yet to get a response. The bike has all the same
components as when it was stolen except it looks like they have changed the saddle.
