Bicycle detail

I was in class on the Seattle U campus - evening classes at the law school in Sullivan Hall - the bike was locked to a bike rack, alongside several others. The rack it was locked to is in a well-traveled, highly-visible area. It was evening but summer and a sunny day, so light out at the time of the theft. I reported the theft to campus security who took a report and informed me that there are no cameras at that part of campus.
