Description of the theft
Bike, pedals, and helmet were in garage at girlfriend's house at 1490 W 24th Ave, Eugene. Was doing yard work in the backyard, garage door had been temporarily le open, unattended for approximately 15 minutes. In that time, bike (also Shimano PD-M520 SPD clipless pedals were attached to bike) and helmet (Specialized Chamonix Matte Acid Lava size M/L) were removed. Did not have serial number with me, which delayed filing of report until this morning. Drove around looking for it again this morning and saw a bike that fit the description in the homeless camp in the lane county fairgrounds along the fenceline on W. 13th ave.
