Bicycle detail

We just moved to Portland in June and are still setting up our security. The bike was in our fenced backyard and our door has a combo lock from the outside. The houses behind us are very close and it appears the person jumped our 6ft fence (we found damage on the fence) and we didn't have a padlock on the latch of the door, so they were able to roll out with it. Typically, we lock our bikes frame locks to prevent people from easily rolling away with the bike and we have alarms on the bikes to deter theft, but unfortunately, this bike wasn't armed and the frame locks were not locked.
