Description of the theft
Bike was stolen out of my backyard, which has a 10 or 11 foot fence. Bike was then transported through several adjoining backyards, and the thief exited with the bike at 1533 N. Dorgenois. I caught up with the thief at the corner of N. Dorgenois and Laharpe, where I caught him apparently trying to steal another bike. I tried to sweet talk him into giving me my bike, and then we tussled and he got control of the bike and rode away down Laharpe.
