Description of the theft
I was sitting next to my bike at the lakefront with my back turned to my bike. It was only about 3 feet away from me. I had my headphones in, so I didn't hear the thief take my bike and ride off with it. Someone sitting about 30 feet away confirmed that a shirtless man had hopped on my bike and started riding south along the lakefront. He said he thought I must have known the guy, but of course I didn't.
