Description of the theft
This bike was stolen by a kid from target parking lot. He seemed to be around 13-15 years old. He was wearing a pink t-shirt and shorts. He had curly blonde hair and said to us that his name was Ben! He came there and told us he walked there because he lives right around the corner. He asked to test drive the bike and just took off. This incident happened around 9pm. He went from Target parking lot to Marshalls side, went to the back and disappeared. He said he lived by the fire station around the park. I’ve reported it stolen with the Streamwood police department. I will be pressing charges unless the bike is returned to me. The bike is graphite colored, looks like Matt finished black colored bike. It’s $4300 bike, I was selling to him for $2800. He contacted my cousin through offer up. I believe he ran off towards oak ridge drive (there’s a back pathway from the neighborhood to target). I felt pity for him and let him test drive without taking anything from him (he said he didn’t have any id on him and looked innocent). I guess you really can’t trust anyone these days. The bike is called Cannondale Synapse Ultrega. It’s sized 56cm. Any help would be appreciated.
