Description of the theft
The bike was locked to a metal planter across the street from our building. We left our apartment at around 2:00 p.m. on Friday and returned at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday; it was stolen in that timeframe. The u-lock's shackle was cut clean through — like somebody took a power saw to it.
