Description of the theft
My daughter locked the Rad Rover 6 Step Through electric fat tire bike to a bike rack on State Street in Santa Barbara. The bike frame and back wheel was locked to a bike rack located between Creamistry (939 State St) and Brandy Melville (935 State Street) at approximately 5:50 pm. When my daughter went to retrieve the bike at approximately 9:30 pm the bike was missing. The bike was stolen sometime between 5:50pm and 9:30 pm. Immediately upon discovering the bike was stolen I contacted Santa Barbara Police Department dispatch and was advised to complete an online theft report (completed) and to contact nearby businesses to request video Surveillance that may have captured the theft in progress or the suspect leaving the scene.
