Description of the theft
My bike was locked with a heavy duty U lock to the cast iron fence surrounding Washington Square on Frenchmen Street directly across from the hotel bar. Because of the heavy rain I got a ride home and left the bike locked there overnight. When I returned the next day it was gone. No notable damage to the fence or broken lock was found
