Description of the theft
I live in an apartment complex with a locked gate. Within the locked gate is an enclosed stairwell. I locked my bike using a cable and secured it to the bike rack within the enclosed stairwell. Someone cut the cable and stole my bike. I am under the impression it was a neighbour or visitor to the building. There were 4 other older bikes in the stairwell that were all unlocked and none of them stolen. My bike was 2 weeks old and very new.
