Description of the theft
I went to my girlfriend’s apartment (on
800 Seneca Street) around 7:00 AM right before work.
- I then left my bike securely locked at a communal bike storage area
located just outside her apartment (right next to the Seattle Town Hall)
and next to the bus stop I take to work around 7:30 AM which was when I
last saw my bike.
- After securing the bike with the 3-step locking system (chain lock,
wheel lock, and alarm), I took the bus to work.
- When I returned from work to retrieve my bike at approximately 5:40
PM, I found that it had been stolen with nothing left behind except the cut
chain lock.
