Bicycle detail

The theft occurred around 7pm on 3/26/15. It is assumed that the thief went around the back of the store and simply pulled it away while everyone was busy. There were no witnesses even though we, Jimmy Johns, were busy the whole night. As of 2pm 3/27/15, I am waiting to hear back from the auto shop next door to see if they have any surveillance footage of the incident.

I know you're thinking "why wasn't a lock used" and that's because my manager instructed me to not lock my bike in front of the store because it was in front of the window where we could see it. In addition, we only have a tree to lock it to, and it was recently cut down to about 5 feet, so anyone could walk up and lift it off, assuming I could fit a lock around the tree to begin with.

Obviously, he was wrong and now I have no bike.
