Description of the theft
My bike was stolen by a man (who may be either Hispanic or white, of medium-large build) off the 764 Metro bus bike rack at the Wilshire/Vermont stop and was followed (via a hidden AirTag) to the Villas at Gower
apartments (supportive housing), where the suspect lives. A witness (who did not give me his name) in the parking lot next to the apartment said he knew who took it (and confirmed it would be in the Villas at Gower). This witness offered to enter the apartment and try to retrieve it while I waited in the parking lot, but he returned without the bike, re-confirming that he saw it and knows who has it, but claiming the person was "not willing to give it up" and was not in a safe state to approach.
