Description of the theft
On Saturday, June 27th at 12:50 am I was standing on my friend's balcony and my electric bike was locked outside to a steel pole and we witnessed a short, overweight black male cutting the lock off of my bike with a power tool. We yelled down to him to stop and ran downstairs as fast as possible to stop him but he managed to get away very quickly. We saw him go North on speedway and 3 of us ran down following him, we searched the boardwalk and many nearby encampments but we haven't found anything. The bike is olive green with black large tires and is electric. It cost me over $3000.
