Description of the theft
On 05/05/2022 at 9:30pm I checked the locked bike room inside my garage on my way back to my apartment and my bike had been stolen. Before entering the locked ride storage room, I noticed the lock mechanism on the door had been tampered with and numerous bolts were broken o. The door was still locking/unlocking properly when I walked in. On the ground in the place where my bike was locked up was a pile of bike lock remains. The thief had clearly used some sort of saw because there was melted metal/plastic remains on the ground. I had not ridden the bike in a few weeks so I am unaware of when it may have been stolen. The bikes is worth $800
