Description of the theft
I locked up my bike when I got to school at 7AM with a u lock around the frame and through a pole. When I got out of school at 2:15 PM, my lock was there, but my bike (with a brand new 1600 lumen light w/ battery pack) and helmet were missing. The lock shows signs of attemped cutting, but it seems to have been picked. It is very loose when locked now, but it is operational.
