Description of the theft
We live in an apartment and keep our bikes locked to our outdoor balcony railing. Our balcony hangs approximately seven feet off the ground. Around 2:00am we were awoken by thumping sounds near our bedroom. We investigated but did not see anyone or notice anything amiss. In the morning we noticed that one of our two bikes is missing along with the lock that secured it.
