Description of the theft
Locks were cut with a handheld circular saw at 12:29pm on 3/3/21. Thief approached from north on 6th Ave, sawed lock sparks flying, and is seen walking away with bike (with back wheel still locked to frame with secondary lock so it couldn’t roll) south on 6th Avenue. Apartment building Chelsea Tower caught theft on camera. Thief was wearing a navy puff jacket and black hat and mask, and black sneakers but is otherwise not distinguishable from video.
