Description of the theft
On June 21st, a approximately 4 pm I found an empty rack where my bike used to be with just my helmet in its place. The apartment building has a "secure" bike garage. Security footage was reviewed which show a young caucasian man with a black hoodie entering the bike room at about 5:25 am, cutting my bike lock, and then leaving with my bike.
My bike is an extra large single-gear black mountain bike (brand name Giant) with wide tires. Frame is XL or approximately 61 cm. There are no shocks on the bike. There is a large black basket over the back tire. It has two water bottle holders, one of which is blue. Also I recently replaced the hand grips to a bright yellow color. The peddles were also recently replaced to a large metal type instead of the standard
plastic. There is grey reflective tape over the frame of the bike as well as bright orange reflective stickers on the back basket. It has a couple lights on the handle bars with a cell phone holder and a couple light on the back basket. I also had a white seat cover on the bike when it was taken.
I never registered my bike before and I am unaware of the serial number. The picture that I added to the bike profile is the security footage of the man stealing the bike.
